New to this

This is going to be a blog about everything under the sun! Well, not literally, only the things that I want to blog about. Which most probably will be food ( I'm a FOODAHOLIC), yes I like cooking and baking (especially eating)  all kinds of things, interior design, decorating, maybe some fashion and travel? We'll see how it goes! 

Let me tell you why I started blogging. It's quite simple, I just wanted to keep myself occupied on my journey of landing a job! as a recent graduate who is not an American Citizen or a Greencard holder it can be quite difficult in this economy to land a job if you are not a science or engineering degree holder. I graduated from Duquesne University (S is silent!) from Pittsburgh with a Supply Chain Management degree. I graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors ( Yeah I think I was 2nd or 3rd in my graduating class) and Dean's Special Honors. But as many of us know, these good stuff on a resume doesn't matter in this economy, specially if you are a foreigner to US.  So why am I in Seattle? I moved  here to be with my amazing and supportive fiance :) He works for a tech giant in Seattle and is the most amazing human being I know. 

Seattle is a diverse city, and I know that there are many wives, significant others who moved to Seattle to join their better half and have trouble finding jobs. I hope this blog helps at least someone out there to take a break from the job hunt and indulge in something else, to take a break and believe that everything happens for a reason, a very good reason. 

But this blog is not only for the unemployed lot! It's for everyone who likes a little bit of everything :)
