Do your own painting to create a wonderful memory with your better half,or to fill up an empty wall space or just to try something new. We had so much fun painting this and neither of us are even good at drawing and painting! (believe me, I still draw stick people)
You need
A painting canvas of your choice ( I had a 24x36)
Painter's tape
2 colors of paint of your choice
Paint brushes and smudging brushes
1) Use your painter's tape to create the pattern you want. In this painting we simple created giant V shapes to give a slight chevron look.
2) Go CRAZY with your paint brushes :)
Notes : Make sure the tape holds well to prevent leaks.
If you want to have a different color in the background other than white, first color the whole canvas, let it dry, then create the pattern with the painter's tape and use a different color or colors as a second layer. However, make sure that the foundation color stands out and is visible to make sure your effort is worthwhile!
